Tri Vdovi is a fashion photography project that draws on folklore, ritual and restraint, presenting a visually cohesive narrative grounded in atmosphere rather than spectacle. Shot against stark natural landscapes, the series balances theatrical styling with disciplined composition, allowing each image to breathe while contributing to a unified whole.

Photographer Anastasia Golovina demonstrates strong control of tone and framing, using muted palettes and deliberate spacing to create images that feel composed yet emotionally charged. The visual language is consistent throughout, with careful attention paid to texture, posture and negative space. Stylist Kapitsa Maria delivers a considered wardrobe direction that blends historical references with contemporary silhouettes, reinforcing the project’s thematic weight without overwhelming the frame.

Make-up and hair direction by Anfisa Begeza, supported by make-up artists Ekaterina Iskandarova and Lidia Roor, is precise and expressive, enhancing character without slipping into excess.
