Our Team

Our team brings together distinct, high-quality expertise across editorial, creative and digital disciplines, with each member contributing a specialised perspective that strengthens Féroce’s voice and vision.

DIANA ROTTEN

Holding a BA (HONS) in Fashion Design and Marketing and 15 years of industry experience, Diana scours the deep dark web in search of fresh talent to promote within the publication.

The torch was passed from former Founder A.M. Young in 2016, and ever since Diana has remained committed to providing high quality coverage and creative direction to Féroce Magazine.

Outside of Féroce Magazine, Diana is an activist and a lover of unsolved mysteries.

Film Editor & Writer

arête

Arête is Féroce’s Film Editor, overseeing the magazine’s film coverage through incisive short-form reviews and longer anthology pieces. Their writing explores cinema as both art form and social mirror, examining how iconic films reflect, challenge and shape the cultural moments they emerge from.

With a critical and respected voice in the community, Arête situates film within wider political, aesthetic and historical contexts, drawing connections between screen narratives and cinema history.

Their editorial approach balances close analysis with broader cultural insight, offering readers thoughtful criticism that moves beyond ratings or hype to consider film’s lasting impact, relevance and position within society.

Music Editor & Writer

jack hinks

Jack is Féroce’s Music Editor, bringing over a decade of professional experience as a musician, poet, and visual practitioner. A touring and recording artist for 16 years, his background spans alternative bands, experimental electronic projects, screen and theatre composition, and live spoken-word accompaniment. Alongside his editorial work, Jack has documented artists, festivals and performance-led events across the UK, giving him a rare insight into music culture from both onstage and behind the lens.

This dual perspective informs his curatorial approach, allowing him to champion emerging talent while capturing the nuance, energy and context that define contemporary music scenes.
