REINE DE L’ANARCHIE – Queen of Anarchy is a visually assertive fashion photography project that explores rebellion, identity and self-determination through bold styling and controlled visual tension. Photographed by Suvrat Tandon, the series demonstrates confident use of colour, contrast and framing. The compositions are deliberate and graphic, allowing each look to stand with clarity while contributing to a cohesive editorial narrative. Natural and directional light are balanced carefully, preserving texture and depth across varied environments.
Styling by Henna Parimoo is central to the project’s impact. Drawing from global fashion subcultures, the looks combine layered patterns, statement accessories and unconventional materials with precision. The result feels expressive without becoming chaotic, reinforcing the project’s underlying theme of liberation through dress. Parimoo’s custom headpieces further strengthen the visual identity, adding structure and symbolism. We see iconic tartans mixed alongside Margiela-esque masks.
Hair and makeup by Mintu Singh are executed with control and intention. The bold finishes enhance facial structure and presence while remaining in harmony with the styling and colour palette. Model Anastasia delivers a composed and resilient performance. Her posture and gaze convey confidence and autonomy, anchoring the conceptual framework with authority.
Together, the team presents a focused editorial that communicates defiance and individuality through disciplined visual storytelling and a stunning juxtaposition of casual punk alongside high fashion irregularity.
