Elements is a conceptual fashion photography editorial by Alena Fadeeva that examines form, texture, and light through contrast, materiality, and graphic intervention. The fashion editorial moves between cool monochromatic tones and sharper chromatic accents, allowing surface, shadow, and gesture to carry the narrative. Rather than relying on visual excess, the imagery builds tension through space, directional light, and compositional balance.

The fashion photography is shaped by a cohesive visual language developed by Alena Fadeeva across photography, creative direction, and retouching. Lighting is used to emphasise texture and sculptural form, drawing attention to the physical presence of the body within the frame. Negative space creates rhythm and separation, ensuring each image holds focus while contributing to the continuity of the series.

Editorial styling introduces a deliberate contrast between hardness and softness. Geometric shapes painted onto the face establish a graphic visual language, echoed by chunky silver jewellery and Doc Martens set against natural linens and painted denim. Garments by Nomad Goba feature Catwoman-esque stitched detailing that cuts through flowing black robes, creating an interplay between precision and fluidity that defines the editorial’s visual identity.
