Elraevskaya shows us another planet

A disco-infused editorial exploring light, texture, and performance through confident styling and cinematic photography.

This photography project presents a confident and immersive exploration of nocturnal glamour, drawing on the visual language of disco culture while maintaining a contemporary editorial sensibility. Susan Grace Hinman’s photography demonstrates strong technical control, particularly in her handling of saturated colour, reflective surfaces, and low-light environments. Her compositions balance theatricality with clarity, allowing each image to remain visually rich without becoming overstated.

Creative direction by Lucy Eversden is evident in the cohesive narrative that runs throughout the series. The bright pink styling, set design, and pacing of the images work together to create a unified atmosphere that feels fun, and unnerving.

Georgina Horne delivers a gorgeous performance as model, bringing presence and adaptability across a range of poses and moods. Her ability to shift between strength and vulnerability adds depth to the imagery and enhances the editorial impact. Makeup by Charlotte Amelia complements the lighting and styling with precision, enhancing facial structure and expression while remaining sympathetic to the project’s overall aesthetic, really making the glitter work for the scene.

Together, the team has produced a stunning, polished editorial that combines technical skill with creative coherence, resulting in one of our favourite editorials.
