He perches on the city’s edge, where concrete meets sky—wet curls spiraling like storm clouds, silver cage clamping flesh in metallic defiance. Feathers erupt from his throat, a black ruff of rebellion; gloves claw the air with spiked precision. One look: skirt swirling phoenix motifs, boots grounded in shadow. Five frames capture the metamorphosis—punch, pose, prowl—urban raven unleashing caged rage against the grid. No props beyond the mask’s bite; just raw power distilled in dusk’s blue haze.
Our thoughts:
In Féroce, this series sits comfortably among our explorations of transformation, myth and experimental styling. “Corvid Cage” works because it embraces the contradictions inherent in performance. It is both organic and artificial, both ritualistic and confrontational. The costume allows the model to transcend ordinary gesture and become a symbolic figure, a messenger or a creature caught mid-flight. The settings, from open sky to industrial interiors, create a journey that feels instinctive rather than literal. Throught he lens of fashion we are watching a shadow of freedom confined.
