The knight & the hell mask : Bettina Leitao

“The knight” is a sewing project inspired by 14th-century French knights, but mostly by Joan of Arc and by women who were persecuted during the Middle Ages because of their knowledge.

“The Hell mask” is an upcycled accessory made from ropes and recycled cans. It represents protection against social pressures, sickness, evilness and the daily life devils hidden by society. Its purpose is to help us feel safe with our own self and forget about the others that could bother us.
