EDITORIAL & FASHION SERIES BY JULES GALHAUT

Photographer Jules Galhaut collaborates with model Shayna Bouzin and fashion designers Ambre Moutin and Billie Polizzi to create an editorial that moves between a series of contrasting roles and environments. Presenting the model as both performer and observer, challenger and outsider, the series unfolds across dramatic night-time landscapes and stark interiors marked by peeling walls and abandoned objects.

Bouzin shifts effortlessly between personas throughout the story. In some images she appears theatrical and commanding, dressed in sculptural red garments that evoke a stage performer or modern heroine. In others, she becomes more isolated and introspective, occupying sparse spaces where posture and expression communicate tension, resilience, and vulnerability.

The designs of Moutin and Polizzi play a central role in this transformation. Through bold silhouettes, striking textures, and carefully constructed forms, the garments become extensions of the character itself, helping to define each scene and emotional shift. Hair, makeup, styling, and movement work together to create a visual narrative that continuously evolves.

Galhaut's use of colour reinforces these transitions. Saturated reds bring intensity and presence, while colder, desaturated environments introduce distance and reflection. The result is a fashion story that explores performance, identity, and adaptation, revealing a figure who is continually negotiating the spaces she inhabits.
