THE OTHERS IN ME

You are alone but they are always there. They whisper in the dark. "Don`t trust anyone!", says Schizophrenia. "You have to do it" whispers OCD. "Destroy what is against you", yells Anger. "You are everything!", says Mania. "You are nothing!", screams Depression. You are all of it. They are a part of you. They are the Others in Me.

Trying to capture the different feelings of psychological disorders as well as the helplessness that both, the patients and the observer, encounter, we combined artistic elements from dance and photography to create this series. It was produced for the upcoming national league dance campaign of Blind Temptation, a show dance ensemble from Germany, specialised on character dance.
